How AstroWise Works
How we turn your birth data into clear, honest insights using nine astrological and symbolic systems and around 1,700 documented interpretive rules.
The 4-Step Process
Share Your Birth Details
Date, time, and place of birth. These three coordinates anchor your chart across nine distinct systems.
Optional: Narrow an Unknown Birth Time
Don't know your exact birth time? Our free Birth Time Rectifier is a separate, optional tool that works with Western and Vedic techniques and your life events to help estimate and narrow a likely range. It estimates a range from what you tell it — it doesn't verify an exact time — and it's entirely optional: if your time is unknown, the report is still generated, with the most time-sensitive sections treated more generally.
Nine Systems Analyze Your Chart
Your birth data flows through Western Astrology, Vedic Jyotish, Chinese BaZi, Human Design, Gene Keys, Pythagorean Numerology, Chaldean Numerology, Mayan Astrology, and Kabbalah.
The program applies roughly 1,700 documented interpretation rules — including 198 life-event formulas and 143 transit events — and weighs how strongly several systems point to the same theme. Where systems disagree, the AstroWise Confidence Score is limited and the disagreement is disclosed.
Your Personalized Report Arrives
Choose The Year Ahead for dated timing windows with action plans. Or choose The 20 Questions for a deep, typically 60–75+ page analysis of your life patterns, strengths, and direction. Or grab The Full Picture for both at the best value. Reports are normally delivered in approximately 15 minutes (occasionally longer).
Built on Roughly 1,700 Documented Interpretive Rules
This is not AI making things up. Planetary placements, transit combinations, numerological numbers, and gene keys each have their own documented rules — interpretive rules researched from the published work of established astrologers, authors, and practitioners across the nine systems.
What "documented rules" actually means
For the configurations in your chart, we've researched what each system says about them. The AI doesn't guess — it looks up the specific rule, then synthesizes findings across systems. Here's an example of how a single data point activates multiple rules:
Illustrative example: a Yang Water Day Master in BaZi
BaZi rule: "Yang Water (Ren) — naturally fluid, communicative, and perceptive. Possesses the ability to navigate obstacles with quiet but persistent strength. Tends toward over-analysis when the Indirect Resource element dominates."
Cross-check with Western: If your natal Mercury also squares Saturn, the BaZi "over-analysis" theme is echoed by a second system that reaches a similar reading through different calculations and interpretive traditions.
Cross-check with Gene Keys: If your Life's Work key sits in Gate 26 (Shadow: Pride), a third system points to the same behavioral pattern from yet another angle.
Illustrative, not a real customer report. When several systems point to the same theme, it's given more weight; an isolated interpretation from only one is treated more cautiously.

The AI synthesizes the patterns. The rules came from the research. That's the difference between AstroWise and "ask ChatGPT about my birth chart."

Any single system can identify a real pattern — but on its own, there's no easy way to tell a well-supported theme from one interpretation among many. Comparing several systems gives you a broader, cross-checked reading.
AstroWise reads your chart through nine astrological and symbolic systems, each with its own calculations and interpretive traditions. Themes several systems point to are given more weight; isolated interpretations are treated more cautiously.
Where systems disagree, the AstroWise Confidence Score is limited and the disagreement is disclosed rather than hidden — so you can see how strongly a finding is actually supported.
The result is a broader interpretation that's less dependent on any single method.

Inside the AstroWise Confidence Score
The AstroWise Confidence Score reflects how strongly the relevant systems and timing indicators support the same theme. A higher score means stronger agreement within the AstroWise methodology. It is not a statistical probability or a guarantee that an event will happen exactly as described.
Behind that score are a few internal scoring limits within the AstroWise methodology — for example, a single system on its own cannot push the score above 50%, and full agreement is capped at 90%.
Domain weighting
Different report domains use predefined weights based on each system's role in the methodology — for example, Vedic is weighted more for timing and BaZi more for strategy.
Cross-system agreement
Do several systems point to the same theme through their own calculations? Agreement across systems raises the score; a single system on its own is limited.
Contradiction handling
Does agreement hold once conflicts are accounted for? Full agreement is capped at 90%, and disagreements are disclosed rather than hidden.
