AstroWise ("we," "us," "our") provides personalized astrology reports. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using astrowise.online or placing an order, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you request a free answer or place an order, you provide:
- Your full name
- Your email address
- Your date of birth
- Your time of birth (if known)
- Your place of birth (city and country)
- Your gender
We use this birth data solely to calculate your chart and generate your report. We do not need, and do not ask for, any government ID, financial account numbers, or other sensitive identifiers.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we automatically receive limited technical data when you visit — such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you view. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies, including:
- Google Analytics — to understand how visitors use the site.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — which loads on all pages of this site to measure the performance of our ads and to help us reach people who may be interested in our reports.
Advertising measurement, including from our server
If you arrive from one of our ads, the link carries advertising identifiers — a click identifier (fbclid) and campaign labels (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term, and the campaign, ad-set and ad IDs). The Meta Pixel also stores two cookies in your browser, _fbp and _fbc, which identify your browser and the ad click that brought you here.
When you request a free answer or place an order, we store those identifiers alongside your order, together with your IP address and browser user-agent string. We keep them so that a purchase you make days after clicking an ad can still be attributed to that ad.
When an order is paid, we send a conversion event to Meta from our own server (Meta calls this the Conversions API), in addition to the Pixel in your browser. That event contains: the advertising identifiers above, your IP address and user-agent, and your email address in irreversibly hashed form (SHA-256) — never in readable form. It also contains the product name and price. Both events carry the same event ID so Meta counts the purchase once.
We never send your name, birth date, birth time, birth place, or any part of your report to Meta, Google, or any other advertising or analytics provider.
2. How we use your information
- To generate and deliver your personalized reports and free answer.
- To process your order and payment.
- To send your reports and respond to support requests.
- To measure and improve our website and advertising.
3. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed to run the service:
- Payment providers (such as PayPal) to process your payment. We never see or store your full card details.
- Our report-generation and email-delivery systems, which process your birth data to produce and send your report. Generation uses third-party AI language-model providers to help write your report, and a mapping service to look up your birth city; these providers process your data only to perform that task.
- Analytics and advertising partners (Google, Meta) which receive standard, mostly aggregated usage data as described above.
- Legal compliance — if required by law or to protect our rights.
We do not use your birth details or reports to train AI models, and we don't send your name, birth details, or report text to analytics or advertising tools. The only personal identifier shared with an advertising provider is your email address in irreversibly hashed form, used solely so a purchase can be matched to the ad that led to it — see “Advertising measurement, including from our server” above.
4. Data retention and security
Your details are stored securely and kept only as long as needed to deliver your report, provide support, and meet legal or accounting obligations. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. Your finished report is delivered through a private link that isn't publicly listed or indexed by search engines.
5. Your rights and choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you at any time. Just email info@astrowise.online and we'll take care of it.
You can also limit tracking by adjusting your browser cookie settings, using your device's ad-tracking controls, or opting out via Meta's ad settings and Google Analytics opt-out.
6. Children
AstroWise is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
7. International visitors
We operate internationally, so your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Wherever it's processed, we handle it according to this policy.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above will always reflect the current version.
